As a sire some may feel So You Think has been a bit disappointing but I think he is getting horses who will begin to find their true range of distance as late three year old and early four year olds. In that arena is the LL filly Think Cathy. The fact is she is a late foal (Nov 14). On the mother's side she would appear to be able to get at least 1600m and further and so the win yesterday at Ballarat over 1600 was good and Col made point after in interview that she will probably get 2400m later. The thing I liked about her was her ability to sprint quick when Nolen wanted her to take a better spot before the turn. That is a gear change and to be then able to hold on down the straight showed she has a bit of heart as well. Will win more and other thing I like is Col has the Declaration of War colt who is a half brother to Think Cathy, The mother Lycra Lass won seven and my memory is the legendary Bart Cummings loved a mare with Tights in the bloodlines and she has.
